Martha is the first person I think of when I have a sewing repair, broken zip or alteration…and especially when I am about to buy a dress on sale that I love but needs a tuck or alteration to make it perfect. My daughters had bridesmaid dresses that were ordered online, but on arrival in Geneva needed bodice refitting & hemming. The dresses were fully lined. When Martha returned the dresses to me I could not find any evidence of the work she had done…..the dresses and linings were immaculately sewn, the only evidence of the extensive alterations was that they now fitted my daughters perfectly!

Martha just repaired the lining of my husband’s suit coat. He had wanted it repaired for sometime, but I wasn’t familiar with a seamstress in the area that I would trust with his suit, let alone who could speak English and understand what I needed done! I contacted Martha, and in just a short time, his suit was like new. I will certainly be calling her again in the near future.

Martha is a marvelous seamstress. She has done several alterations for members of my family. Last summer she tucked and fitted my two daughters’ bridesmaid dresses for their brother’s wedding, and also worked her magic on my mother-of-the-groom dress for the occasion. Her work was very fine, leaving no evidence of alterations. She worked quickly and efficiently, making sure that she understood our needs and that we were satisfied with the results. Thanks to her, all three of us felt fabulous on such an important day. I would highly recommend Martha’s work to anyone who needs an expert seamstress.
